ADASHINO HOUSE is more than just a store; it’s a cultural hub established by Shogado, a company with years of experience in planning and selling washi paper products. Nestled in Sagatoriimoto, a place where you can truly feel Kyoto’s rich traditions and natural beauty, ADASHINO HOUSE is designed as a space where visitors can touch, use, and experience the charm of Japanese traditional culture, including washi paper and stationery.
Housed in a charming 100-year-old machiya (traditional townhouse) located within a historical building preservation district, ADASHINO HOUSE will showcase and sell Shogado’s signature washi paper products. Our aim is to create a space that connects daily life with culture, making it an open and welcoming place for both domestic and international visitors.
